What is Spookyfest?

The Canaltown Short Spooky Movie Festival began in 2014. Minus some plague years, this festival has been a celebration of local and international cinema presenting spooky, short, moving pictures each year in Downtown, Festivaltown, Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Festivals take place during the spooky season. In Honesdale, that season runs long and is celebrated grandly so Spookyfests’ past have taken place within the window of October 1 and New Year’s Eve.
